The late professor’s Linkedin details revealed that he attended Government College, Kano; Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria and other postgraduate courses outside Nigeria. He worked with Ahmadu Bello Teaching Hospital, AKTH as well as King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre, Riyadh

He was commissioner of health in Jigawa State (1002-1993) and chief medical director, AKTH (2003-2011).
