Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission (PCACC) has given awards of recognition to seven personalities it said were instrumental to its success story for years.

Chairman of the commission, Muhuyi Magaji Rimingado, who named the awardees on Wednesday during a musical and drama concert to commemorate the international anti-corruption day, said they played different fundamental roles in making the jobs of PCACC go smoothly since he became its head.

According to him, since the commission has multiple roles that cut across investigation and prosecution of corruption-related cases as well as ombudsman-ship, it draws from the expertise, experience and capacity of “a cross section of professionals” some of who volunteered their time and energy to make it succeed.
