Analysing Striking Resemblance Between New Emir of Zazzau and Old Emir of Kano
Ever since Alhaji Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli was named as the new Emir of Zazzau on Wednesday, the social media have become abuzz with references to his striking facial resemblance with erstwhile Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi.
Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-rufai, appointed Bamalli as the Emir of Zazzau 19 days after the death of former emir, late Alhaji Shehu Idris who died on the 20th of September, 2020
All of a sudden, talks began to emerge about the resemblance of the new Zazzau emir with the old emir of Kano, at least facially.
None of those pointing to the resemblance go beyond the face, as the two are obviously dissimilar in other features, including height and physique. While Sanusi is tall and lanky, Bamalli is shorter but more plumb.
There is no known immediate blood relation between the two but they are known be friends as they shared similar profession as bankers.
It is equally not easily ascertainable if the alluded resemblance is true because the pictures that have been paraded of the two so far showed both in turban.
Nigerian Sketch has not been to study their features without the turbans, which normally cover more about half of the face.
If you have any pictures which show the two without turban and you think they still resemble one another, please send to us in the comments section.
