Sadio Mane, Noussair Mazraoui decline posing with beer in Bayern Munich’s traditional squad photo
As part of a partnership with local brewery Paulaner, every year the Bavarian outfit get dressed up in Lederhosen and pose with three litre beers.
This year was no different for the Bundesliga champions and Mane joined his teammates and manager Julian Nagelsmann in sporting the traditional attire.
A total of 31 people made up of players and staff posed in the picture but only two did not have a beer in hand – Mane and fellow new signing Noussair Mazraoui, a Moroccan international.
Both are devout Muslims and the consumption of alcohol is forbidden in Islam. The pair were still all smiles and should be commended for making the effort to immerse themselves in the Bavarian culture.
Mane was sat at the front, while Mazraoui was stood next to Jamal Musala in the third row.

In February, Mane asked Liverpool colleague Takumi Minamino to refrain from spraying champagne during the Carabao Cup celebrations at Wembley.
Minamino stood next to Mane, had grabbed a bottle, but the Senegalese forward politely asked him to put it down.
He respected Mane’s wishes and then both the former Southampton man and Mohamed Salah darted away to take cover while the champagne was being sprayed.
Mane, one of the most humble footballers in the world, prays five times a day and regularly gives back with sizeable charity donations.
He has already become a huge fans’ favourite at Bayern, where he’s scored three times in his first four Bundesliga.
Mane was in the stands shouting into the megaphone after scoring on his debut in a 6-1 thrashing of Eintracht Frankfurt earlier this month.
Bayern are leading the Bundesliga table once again but dropped points at the weekend after an insane goalkeeping performance from Yann Sommer helped Borussia Monchengladbach pick up a point at the Allianz Arena.
