Kano State governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has approved the appointment of Salisu Muhammad Tahir as the new Secretary/Legal Adviser to the Kano State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission (PCACC), the commission’s director of special assignment, Usman Bello, has said in a press statement.

In his submission to the governor, Rimingado said the request was based on section 10 of the commission’s law and that Tahir has fulfilled all the requirements of the law.

Prior to his appointment, Tahir was a director public complaints and mediation of the commission.

Tahir has been a state cousel with 18 years post-call experience.

Meanwhile, Zakiyya Haruna has also been appointed as the registrar of the recently established Kano State Anti-Corruption Institute.
