Google launches Veo 3 model for Gemini Pro users globally
The US tech giant Google has launched a new artificial intelligence (AI) tool called Veo 3 for its users globally.
Starting Friday, the tool is available for Gemini’s Pro subscribers. The model is available to its Pro users in more than 159 countries.
The model was unveiled at Google’s I/O event that was held on May 20, 2025. Veo 3 allows its users to make short, eight-second videos with sound, like voices, music, and other sound effects, to make them feel real. The Gemini Pro users can use it to create fun or creative videos, like showing history through a modern influencer’s eyes, imagining weird scenes like slicing a glass apple, or even making videos about Bigfoot.
Google has stated that its Veo 3 is special because it inspires creativity and is now available to more people. It was built by Google’s DeepMind team and can create realistic-looking videos with clear audio using text or pictures as a starting point. It’s good at making things look lifelike, like how objects move or how lips match spoken words.

As per the reports, the firm has made sure that its Veo 3 is used responsibly by adding a visible watermark and a hidden one called SynthID to all videos it creates, so everyone knows that the videos are created by AI.
Google is serious about keeping things safe and tests the model thoroughly to avoid problems. However, as of now, the model is available to Gemini’s Pro users. This initiative of the firm will allow more people to try Google’s advanced AI. Veo 3 could change how one tells stories and makes videos.
