Madarasatu Umar Ibn Khattab graduates 51 Quranic students, honours Alan Waka, Santali

A Kano-based Quranic school Madarasatu Umar Ibn Khattab Islamiyya Primary Litahfizul Quran at Medile B appealed to parents to ensure that their wards get the necessary religious trainings while still young.

A number of Islamic scholars encouraged the graduands to ensure that they abide by the teachings of the Quran in all they do.

Chairman of the school’s Parents and Teachers Association (PTA), appealed called for support in addressing the school’s urgent needs, especially the problem of flooding which requires interlocking of the school premises to resolve. He also said the school needs mats, chairs, tables and addition office space for staff.

Head of the school’s morning session, Mallam Aminu Ahmed, said the management decided to specially honour the Santalin Walin Kano as well as Aminu Ladan Ala for their steadfast support for the school. He encouraged others to emulate them.
