2027: Kiru/Bebeji stakeholders endorse Abdulmumin Kofa for fifth term
Stakeholders from the Kiru/Bebeji Federal Constituency have unanimously nominated Abdulmumin Jibril Kofa to contest for a fifth consecutive term in the House of Representatives.
The endorsement followed extensive consultations among key political figures and community leaders, signaling a unified front as the constituency prepares for the next electoral cycle.
Announcing the decision, the chairman of the stakeholders’ forum, Ahmad Ali Yako, stated that the consensus was rooted in Kofa’s proven track record. Yako highlighted the lawmaker’s dedication to grassroots development and his “consistent engagement” with constituents as the primary drivers for the nomination.

Governor Yusuf reacts
Kano State governor, Abba Kabir Yusuf, has welcomed the development, praising the stakeholders for their “political maturity.”
In a statement, the governor commended the leaders for prioritizing collective progress over personal ambitions. He urged the party faithful and community members to maintain this spirit of cooperation to ensure a stable political environment ahead of future engagements.
